From a very young age Cherish dreamed of being in the nations. A desire etched in her heart to see the Kingdom advance could not be let go of. At the age of 11 Cherish went on her first mission trip to Mexico where the Lord burned an even deeper desire. When Cherish & Robert married they desired to see God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven. They constantly searched the heart of the Father for their lives and others getting all the training they could reach for. As the Kingdom of Heaven became more apparent in their lives they began to see lives transformed through physical healing.

During this time, Cherish traveled to Kenya where she witnessed the mute speak, blind eyes opened, and a tumor disappear. After seeing hundreds of healings they began to see a need for spiritual freedom in those they ministered to. From there God opened the door for training in deliverance. Equipped with deliverance they began to go into the nations once again.

While Robert was in India Cherish had a dream that pointed them in the direction of Cambodia. As they prayed about what the Lord was doing and allowed leadership to speak into it, it became evident that He was leading their family into their dream of long-term missions. Since that time Cambodia and the Khmer people have been branded on their hearts and minds. Traveling to Cambodia in late 2023 confirmed the call.

In the summer of 2024, the Bickel family is moving to Cambodia to see unreached people come to know the Savior of the world!
